The holiday season is here and with it the best time of the year for ecommerce, including print on demand.

Will the global pandemic situation have a major impact on Christmas sales this year? Or will I be able to celebrate new record highs?

Let’s check the numbers for November.

Merch by Amazon

Overview of my sales on Merch by Amazon in November 2020

Sales were increasing steadily, as we are getting closer and closer towards Christmas. Moreover, I’m happy to see my return rate decline more and more.

In November, I reached a total of 188 sales on Merch by Amazon. This corresponds to an increase of +69 % compared to the previous month, which reached 111 sales.

Those sales together generated roughly 726,84 € in royalties. This corresponds to an increase of +71 % compared to the previous month, which reached 423,94 € in royalties.

I’m currently Tier 1000 with 995 slots filled, divided into 852 products on the German marketplace, 66 on the US marketplace, 39 on the UK marketplace, 11 on the FR marketplace, 9 on the IT marketplace, 9 on the ES marketplace, and 9 on the JP marketplace.

I’m really getting hopeful about the development of my return rate and the possibility to get my tier up for Christmas. Come on!

Spreadshirt.com keeps making waves.

In November, I reached a total of 19 sales on Spreadshirt.com. This corresponds to an increase of +36 % compared to the previous month, which reached 14 sales.

Those sales together generated roughly $ 81.26 in royalties. This corresponds to an increase of +45 % compared to the previous month, which reached $ 56.16 in royalties.

I still have 360 designs published on Spreadshirt.com. Also nothing new uploaded here.

Redbubble

Even Redbubble is showing Christmas vibes, on a smaller scale, of course.

In November, I reached a total of 7 sales on Redbubble. This corresponds to an increase of +600 % compared to the previous month, which reached 1 sale.

Those sales together generated roughly 16,39 € in royalties. This corresponds to an increase of +806 % compared to the previous month, which reached 1,81 € in royalties.

I still have 807 designs published on Redbubble.

Total Sales and Royalties

Adding the figures from all above platforms together amounts to a total of 354 sales. This corresponds to an increase of +79 % compared to the previous month, which reached 198 sales.

All sales together generated roughly 1250,01 € in royalties that I earned. This corresponds to an increase of +81 % compared to the previous month, which reached 690,01 € in royalties.

I’m still putting almost no efforts into my print on demand business recently, besides uploading a few designs to the new marketplaces on Amazon, making this a completely passive income stream (at the moment).

I have decided to make a full evaluation of my results after Christmas, and will then define a new strategy for me to further develop it in the new year.

I’m looking forward to hear about your current print on demand experiences and thoughts in the comments below!
